Karissa Domondon is the Executive Assistant to Rick Heitzmann and Matt Turck. Karissa grew up in the Philippines and Australia, where she started her career at the Reserve Bank of Australia. She held several roles in the public service focusing on clean energy and industry innovation policy, culminating in her role as an economics and policy adviser to the Member for Perth in the Federal Parliament. Karissa moved to New York in 2016 to intern at the Asia Society Policy Institute under the former Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, where she researched carbon market linkages in Asia. Chief of Staff roles in early stage tech start-ups led Karissa to FirstMark Capital in 2019.
She holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia and a Master of Science from Curtin University Graduate School of Business.
